Construction Site Summer Safety

Safety on construction sites is key, but different seasons bring additional safety measures that you should follow. Today, we are going to discuss summer safety.

Let’s start by thinking about where you will be working. You are going to be outside for most of the day when working on construction projects. No matter what you should wear sun cream to ensure your skin is protected. If you want a tan, wear a lower factor, but protect yourself from the rays that can give you cancer by wearing suncream.

Following on from this, you will also want to have a good pair of sunglasses on hand to wear when the sun ultimately gets too bright for you to be able to see what you are doing. Having a good visual of what you are doing is key to keeping yourself safe whilst working on a dangerous project.

Finally, remember to take regular breaks to keep yourself as hydrated as possible. The more sweat you are losing the more you will need to be drinking.
